Interview: Derek Minor talks Reflection

Earlier this month, rapper Derek Minor released his latest album, Reflection. Coming off the back of two very different albums, Minorville (2013) and Empire (2015), Reflection is another change in sound, and also provides some very frank words about the state of America at the present time.

Last week on my radio show, Fresh, I spoke to Derek all about Reflection, the Black Lives Matter movement, copping hate on Twitter, whether he’s cooking up an EP with Canon, and why he’s never going to buy a boat. You can hear that and much more in the stream below:
